Serbian delegation attends IMF, World Bank spring meeting
The National Bank of Serbia (NBS) has said that a Serbian delegation will attend the spring meeting of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the World Bank in Washington, DC, USA, between April 14 and 19.
The Serbian delegation will continue talks with the IMF on completion of the fifth review under the ongoing three-year loan arrangement as well as on its extension, according to a statement from the NBS.
The delegation will be led by NBS Governor Radovan Jelasic, who is also the Serbia-Montenegrin governor at the IMF.
Also attending the spring meeting will be Serbian Deputy Prime Minister Miroljub Labus, Minister of Finance Mladjan Dinkic, Minister of Economy Predrag Bubalo, Executive Director of the Privatisation Agency Goran Mrdja, and Director of the Serbian Investment and Export Promotion Agency (SIEPA) Jasna Matic.
According to the statement, the Serbian delegation will hold a series of meetings with representatives of international financial institutions and officials of the countries taking part in the meeting.
