Plan regarding future relations between Serbia and EU presented in Brussels

Serbian Deputy Prime Minister Ivana Dulic-Markovic and Serbian Minister of Finance Mladjan Dinkic held talks today in Brussels with EU Enlargement Commissioner Olli Rehn, and presented the plan on cooperation and future relations between Serbia and the EU. They said following talks that the doors of the EU are wide open to Serbia.

Dinkic said on the occasion that Rehn valued the fact that Serbia is ready to invest more and expressed the willingness of the EU to increase investment with its funds.

The Minister pointed out that the European Commission has already secured pre-accession funds for Serbia and when negotiations with the EU are resumed that help will be significantly increased.

Everything depends on Serbia. We can enter the EU very quickly, if we complete cooperation with The Hague very quickly and continue with implementation of reforms. The EU is ready to support Serbia, but first we must fulfil our obligations, concluded the Minister.
