Doppelmayr opens representative office in Belgrade
Serbian Minister of Finance Mladjan Dinkic said today that by opening its representative office in Belgrade, Austrian company Doppelmayr will make its contribution to the development of Serbian tourism by generating larger revenues in this area. At the opening of Doppelmayr’s office in Belgrade, Dinkic said that this company has already contributed to the increase in the number of overnight stays on Mt Kopaonik by installing three cableways. He added that this company will make its contribution through its engagement on Mt Stara Planina, which vies to become the largest ski resort in this part of the world and where 40 cableways will be installed.
Dinkic announced that a master plan for Stara Planina will be finished by the year’s end and added that the government has selected 50 hectares where an Olympic village will be erected, which will be a chance for Stara Planina to run for organising the Olympics. The Minister announced that two more cableways will be installed on Kopaonik by the end of the year. He also noted that a tender for the first wellness hotel on Kopaonik has been announced.
Representatives of Doppelmayr handed over a donation in computers for schools in nearby Dimitrovgrad to the Minister of Finance.
