Decisive on the reform course

Having secured a stable macroeconomic environment, ahead of the government is the task of tackling the most pressing problems of public administration and public sector reform, as well as breaking entrenched interest groups and internal resistance of the system, says Finance Minister Dušan Vujović. To date we have prepared the reform strategy and action plans, and now we are going through the challenges of implementing the programme, including the resistance of interest groups and the weakness of the administrative system that should implement this process from the top to the bottom. The government views these problems as a test of its commitment to reforms and its intention to persevere in them, says Finance Minister Dušan Vujović.
